A giant crocodile and a turtle encounter

Crocodiles are large aquatic reptiles. They are the largest and heaviest of all reptiles. They do not have sweat glands and are seen oten with their mouths open. This is done to cool themselves. They have a narrow and longer head with untrained eyes. They have a V shaped snout with upper and lower jaws of same width. When the mouth is closed the teeth of the lower jaw fall along the edge or outer side of the upper jaw.So when the mouth is closed all teeth are visible.Crocodiles are carnivorous animals feeding mostly fishes, mammals, reptiles and birds. They are semi aquatic and live in fresh water habitats like river ,lake and wetland.Crocodiles are at the risk of extinction. Many are classified as critically endangered.

Turtles are reptiles which belong to one of the oldest reptile groups. They are cold blooded animals whose temperature varies according to its ambient environment. They have a special bony or cartilaginous shell which provides them a shield. It is a protecting shield from their predators. In cases of any attack the turtles pulls inside their head and limbs into the shell.Turtles cannot breathe as other reptiles because of the rigid shell. The colour of the turtle’s shell may vary.It may be brown, black or olive green.Even though turtles spend most of their time in water they have to move to the surface at regular intervals to refill their lungs. In this video a crocodiles encounter with a turtle is shown. The crocodile places the turtle in between its jaws. The hard and rigid shell of the turtle makes the crocodile unable to crunch it .Whenever the crocodile tries to crunch it , the turtle slips off from the crocodiles mouth. But the crocodile does not give up and takes the turtle again to its mouth. It is not able to swallow the turtle too.It keeps the turtle as such in between its jaws and rests with its mouth open. The turtle tries

its level best to escape somehow but fails.
